DODA, Oct 4: Bhalla police arrested a drug peddler along with 13.2 grams heroin.
As per police sources, a team from Bhalla Police Post laid a naka at Chapra near Ghadsoo Pul Doda and intercepted one van bearing registration number JK03E-6851.
During checking, police recovered 13.2 grams heroin and one electronic weighing machine and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Ajaz Ahmed Ganai, son of Abdul Shaban Ganai of Bonigam Qazigund.
A case under FIR Number 116/17 under Section 8/21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Bhalla Police Post SI Sunil Parihar made the arrest under the supervision SHO Bhaderwah Jatinder Singh Sambyal, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
