BHADERWAH, June 9: One person was held today with illicit liquor in Bhaderwah area.
According to a police spokesman, a bootlegger identified as Jagat Ram son of Jameet Ram, resident of Chhani (Chinta) was apprehended today near TRC Bhadarwah from whom 38 nips of country made liquor were recovered.
The arrest and recovery was made by a police team under the supervision of SDPO Bhadarwah, Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP, Bhadarwah, Shahzad Salaria.
In this connection, a case FIR NO 67/17 under Section 48 A Excise Act was registered at concerned police station.
