JAMMU, May 26: Police today arrested a bootlegger and recovered 60 pouches of liquor from his possession.
Police spokesman said that on the basis of specific information a police party from Gandhi Nagar Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rajinder Sharma intercepted one Swaran Singh, son of Hukam Singh of Bhor Camp and recovered 60 pouches of liquor from his possession.
He has been booked under Excise Act.
