One killed, 5 injured in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Dec 30: A pillion rider died after he suddenly fell from moving motorcycle near Darsoo while in a separate road accident, five youth were injured when a car rolled down near Kanth Gali in district Udhampur.
Reports said that Kailash (16), son of Ramdev, resident of Rajasthan, presently at Vijaypur Jammu, suddenly fell from the moving motorcycle, which was being driven by his maternal uncle. The motorcycle, bearing registration number RJ37S-6726, was on its way from Patnitop to Jammu when pillion rider Kailash suddenly fell on road near Darsoo National Highway. He was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
In a separate road accident, five friends were injured when a Wagon-R car, which was on its way from Panchari to Udhampur, rolled down in a deep gorge near Kanthgali. Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur.
The injured were identified as Ayush Sharma (20), son of Vijay Sharma of Omara Morh, Bhanu Partap Singh (21), son of Rajinder Singh of Roun Domail, Ranjeet Singh (21), son of Jeevan Singh of Chani Morh, Sandeep Sharma (20), son of Subash Chander of Baryal and Aditya Sharma (20), son of Vijay Sharma of Garhi.
Meanwhile, a middle aged man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at village Incha in Ramnagar.
The deceased was identified as Hans Raj (45), son of Mangu Ram of village Incha Ramnagar. He was found dead around two kilometres from his house. The dead body was spotted by some locals who immediately called the police.
Exact cause of death could not be ascertained while Police has registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
