KATHUA, Feb 8: One person was killed and another got seriously injured when a van rolled down at Tharakalyal area of Billawar, late this evening.
The deceased has been identified as 25-year old Rajinder Kumar, son of Shori Lal of Ucha Pind. The injured, namely Ankush Khajuria (30) son of Ram Charan of Ucha Pind, who was driving the van, is under treatment in the hospital.
As per police report, the accident took place when the Van bearing registration number JK02U-7925, on way from Tharakalyal to Ucha Pind, rolled down into deep gorge. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Billawer where doctors declared one of them as brought dead.
