UDHAMPUR, May 26: One person was killed in a group clash at village Kentha under the jurisdiction of Ramnagar Police Station.
Police spokesman said that a clash took place between two groups at village Kentha in which one Mehar Din, son of Sarafu Din of Heera Nagar and Rahim Din, son of Jagoo of Kathua were brutally stabbed over an old enemity.
On getting information about the incident police swung into action and shifted both the critically injured persons to Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar where Mehar Din succumbed to injuries. Later, Rahim Din was rushed to District Hospital Kathua for specialized treatment. His condition was stated to be out of danger when reports last came in.
The spokesman said that four persons namely Been, son of Shafi, Hando, son of Aleem Din, Lal Din, son of Jagoo and Rahim Din, son of Jagoo were arrested.
