SAMBA, July 21: One person was killed after his motorcycle bearing registration number JK21-9194 was hit by a school bus on Vijaypur -Ramnagar road near Main Bazar Vijaypur today.
He has been identified as Dimple Kumar, 31, S/O Bishan Dass of Patti Vijaypur.
The Vijaypur Police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Government Community Centre Ramgarh for postmortem and later handed over it to the family for cremation.
The driver of the School bus fled after the accident. The Vijaypur Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law and started investigation. The police has also launched a manhunt to arrest the driver.
