Srinagar, Oct 14: Police today said one person was killed and two others were injured in two different road accidents in South and North Kashmir.
A police spokesman said an oil tanker bearing registration number JK01L-7534 collided with a Swift car bearing registration number JK05E-4030 at Puthkhah village of North Kashmir’s Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulting in on spot death of Swift car driver identified as Bilal Ahmad Dar.
The spokesman said a Maruti car bearing registration number JK02AL-1904 collided with a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13B-2785 at Nambal village of Awantipora area in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist identified as Sajad Ahmad Dar and a pillion rider identified as Layakat Ahmad Ganie. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
