JAMMU, Aug 27: CJM Jammu, S R Gandhi today awarded one-year rigorous imprisonment to real brothers Shesh Kumar and Moti Lal, who were facing trial in attack on step sister of their father over land dispute.
After hearing CPO Sanjay Kohli with Senior PO Rajeshwar Basotra for the State, CJM observed, “prosecution has proved the offences under Section 342 and 324 RPC”. Accordingly, both the accused were awarded one year rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 1000.
