JAMMU, July 20: Online counseling for the J&K candidates, who have qualified recently held National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) for admission in MBBS and BDS, is going to be held from tomorrow.
Merit list of the qualified candidates has been uploaded on official website of the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) and now the candidates are required to submit through online three preferences for the college.
BOPEE Chairman Mushtaq Bukhari told the Excelsior that online counseling will continue for the next five days and the candidates will be allotted colleges strictly as per their merit.
Claiming that there was no delay in commencement of the counseling process, Bukhari said that after proper scrutiny of the documents, the list of candidates was released yesterday and forwarded to the Information Department for publication of the same in print media.
It may be recalled that following declaration of NEET result on June 29, BOPEE had asked the qualified candidates to submit their relevant documents and last date for the same was July 8.
