JAMMU, Sept 1: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary. School, Jeevan Nagar organized Online Eco- Friendly Ganesha Activity Competition for the students of Class-3rd.
The competition was among four schools which were Blooming Dale, RMPS, Shiksha Niketan High School Gandhi Nagar and Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar. The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Deeksha Shabharwal, Principal of Golden Roots was the chief guest and adjudged the participating students.
Kakshi of RMPS bagged first position in the competition, while Prathishta Sharma of SNS Jeevan Nagar got second position and Ashvika Sharma of SNS Gandhi Nagar clinched third position.
The main object of this competition was to promote the concept of “Green Living” that helps in energy conservation and also prevents all sorts of pollution of air, water and noise etc. All sorts of Greenery prove out to be a boon for the clean and healthy environment for all the living species including the ‘Human Beings’.
At the end of the event, Principal of the school Rameshwar Mengi congratulated the winners.
