JAMMU, June 14: World Taekwondo Europe Online Para Taekwondo Workshop concluded.
The event was held by World Taekwondo Europe, under the banner of World Taekwondo.
Over 100 referees and officials participated in the event.
This was the first type of workshop ever held in the history of Taekwondo sport.
Atul Pangotra International Referee WT from J&K also participated in the event.
Pangotra said that this is the first time that such a workshop has been held. He also mentioned that he has qualified as Top 50 International Referees for the Paralympics, the first from the UT.
He also mentioned that India has many talented para Taekwondo athletes and one of them is his student Chandeep Singh from Jammu.
Chandeep Singh has bagged a medal for the country in the World Para Taekwondo Championships and Asian Para Taekwondo Championships. He was recently nominated for a prestigious National award for his achievements.
