Open competition of video message on COVID-19 in Punjabi held

JAMMU, June 14: Open competition of two minutes video message on COVID-19 in Punjabi was organized by Department of Punjabi, GCW Gandhi Nagar.
Maximum students of different colleges actively participated in this event.
The event was judged by Dr Nirlape Kour, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science and Dr Kamini Matoo, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi.
In this event, Avneet Kour student of 6th Semester, GCW Gandhi Nagar and Sharandeep Kour student of 4th Semester, GCW Gandhi Nagar secured 1st position. Riya Sehaj Kour, student of BCom Semester 2nd, GCW Gandhi Nagar and Harpreet Kour student of 4th semester, Government Degree College Nowshera secured second position and the third position was clinched by Navjot Singh, student of B Com Semester 1st, SPMR College of Commerce and Poonam Devi of student of BA Semester 2nd, Government Degree College Ramgarh. Jagmeet Kour, student of BA Semester 6th, GCW Parade, Ritika Aggarwal student of Semester 2nd, Tamana Choudary student of B Com Semester 2nd and Ravneet Kour student of BA Semester 6th of GCW Gandhi Nagar were given away consolation prizes.
The students who have scored high in this Competition were awarded e-Certificates.
The competition was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Dr Ravinder Tickoo, GCW Gandhi Nagar and HOD Punjabi Dr Surjeet Kour.
Dr Kusum Assistant Professor Punjabi organized the whole event meticulously.
