SRINAGAR, Nov 9: Three day long Kashmir Open Ju-Jitsu Championship, organised by Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K under the banner of ‘My Youth My Pride’ initiative of J&K Sports Council for Bandipora and Baramulla districts, concluded at Indoor Stadium Shadipora in Bandipora.
The championship was hosted by District Bandipora and Baramulla District Ju-Jitsu Association
Around 500 students participated from various institutions of Kashmir province with great enthusiasm and zeal. The event was inaugurated by Tarsem Sharma general secretary andDanish Sharma technical director of Ju Jitsu Association of J&K.
Khalid Aziz, Zulfikar and Muzafar Ahmad from Baramulla, Budgam and Bandipora districts respectively were also present during the event.
At the valedictory ceremony, Bashir Ahmed, Joint Secretary-J&K Sports Council was the chief guest, while Tarsem Sharma general secretary of the Association was the guest of honour along with Surinder Singh SDPO Sumbal and SHO Sumbal.
At last students were felicitated for their outstanding performances with medals and trophies.
