Opening ceremony of IIMUN held

JAMMU, May 10: The Opening ceremony of Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN) was held at Heritage School, here.
IIMUN is one of the India’s leading Brand in Education Conferrence Management having organized the Asia’s Largest Youth Conference in Mumbai amongst the many other conferences. MUN is a simulation of the various committees of the United Nations.
Student delegates representing various UN member nations address specific issues of interest. They are expected to do this in a conciliatory manner to the fullest of their nation’s interests. They learn to embrace the spirit of the UN charter. Many schools and colleges throughout the world organize their own Model United Nations Conference.
Over 80 student delegates from various reputed schools and educational institutions are participating in the Jammu Chapter which is being conducted at Heritage School.
On the inaugural day, a training session was conducted for the delegates in the first half of the day. It was followed by the Opening ceremony which started with Saraswati Vandana followed by a cultural programme.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Principal Heritage School, Jammu, Hardik Jain, Vice President IIMUN, Ronak Shah, Assistant Director, IIMUN.                                                                                                          The opening ceremony ended with the hitting of the judge’s hammer by Rohan Bhutial, Secrertary IIMUN Jammu.
