Opposition making false allegations against Modi Govt: Amit Shah

RANCHI, Apr 11:  Bharatiya Janta Party President Amit Shah today said that a ”directionless” opposition was making baseless allegations against the Narendra Modi Government and was misleading the people by spreading hoax and false rumours.
Addressing  a workers meet at the Morabadi Ground here, he said that those who are pointing out  should first look within themselves.  The Congress should tell the people on who was responsible for the coal scam and spectrum allocation scam, he said, adding that coal blocks were allocated to corporates  like Jindal and Dardas.
He said that Congress was misleading the people over the land acquisition ordinance issue.
In an indirect attack on Robert Vadra, the son-in-law  of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Mr Shah said he had allegedly captured hundreds of acres of land of the farmers and therefore, the party has no right to speak on the land issue.
The BJP President asked the party workers that they should not lower their heads on the land acquisition issue as not a single inch of land would go in the hands of the corporates.
He said the workers  should tell the people that land acquisition ordinance would  bring development and prosperity in their areas.
Employment opportunity would be generated in the villages, power and water will reach the fields which would increase production and help in building schools and hospitals in the villages, Mr Shah said and  addied that people have understood the true nature of the Congress party.
The Congress was reduced to just 44 seats in the Lok Sabha while in Maharashtra, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand it was reduced to the fourth position and in the Delhi Assembly poll it had even failed to open its account, the BJP President said, adding that there was no place for the Congress in the hearts of the people of the country.
He asked the party workers to reach every house in the state as part of the Sampark Abhiyaanâ and spread the message of the government.
Mr Shah  urged the party workers to work towards getting rid of manual scavenging.
There are 33.60 lakh toilets in the country which still involve manual scavenging. The workers need to rebuild the toilets so that we can get rid of this system, he said and also asked them to spread the message of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao scheme. (UNI)
