JAMMU, Feb 6: Orzu CC will lock horns with Tigers XI in finals summit in the ongoing cricket tournament by defeating Nemisis and Shiv Bhagwati Vanquishers in semi-final matches, being organised by Orzu Sports Culture Educational Trust in memory of Vishal Bhat at Jagti Town, here today.
In first semi-finals match, Orzu CCC made 258 runs with loss of four wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Vishal Bhat played an excellent knock of 73 runs, whereas Vishal Tickoo scored unbeaten 46 runs and Akash contributed 33 runs. For Nimesis, Deepanshu took two wickets, while Samah and Ankit bagged one wicket each.
In reply, Nemisis failed to chase the target and bundled out at 150 by losing eight wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Samah and Ayush scored 66 and 28 runs respectively. For bowling side, Vishal Kanth, Vishal Bhat took three and two wickets respectively. Vishal Bhat was declared as man of the match.
In another semi-finals match, Tigers XI beat Shiv Bhagwati Vanquishers wherein former scored 166 runs by losing seven wickets. Vishal Misri made 75 runs and Navjot Singh scored 36 runs. From bowling side, Rohit Raina, Rajat and Rahul clinched one wicket each.
While chasing the target, opponent team bundled out at 67 runs. Rajat and Akshay made 12 and 11 runs respectively. From bowling side, Varagiya took four wickets, Sagar and Navjot bagged two wickets each.
