JAMMU, Aug 8: To cultivate respect for community helpers and develop confidence and oratory skills amongst the children, the GD Goenka Public School, Jammu held an activity namely ‘Our Helpers’, here today.
Dressed up like doctors, engineers, teachers, carpenters etc, the students of Class 1st took part in this activity, based on value based education, an integral part of the curriculum.
The School Campus was decorated as per the theme like a hospital, a police station or a restaurant etc.
The students depicted an entire scene related to helpers and also delivered dialogues to bring out the importance of these helpers in our society.
The programme was attended by the students’ parents also.
School Director Sanya Bansal and Principal Poonam Jha observed the activity and appreciated the students as also the teachers.
