JAMMU, Dec 9: With a view to offering standard facility to the health and fitness enthusiasts of Jammu, KC Sports Club has created an outdoor gym on its lawns and fitted it with well-designed equipment for group and individual exercises, here.
The facility was inaugurated today morning by Parvez Dewan, retired IAS Officer and thrown open for the people of Jammu. After formal inauguration, many regular members of the Club tried their hands at the outdoor equipment and experienced the thrill of using it.
It is pertinent to mention here that KC Sports Club is located next to KC Public School on Akhnoor Road. The Club building measuring about 60000 square feet of air-conditioned space has 3 double height floors housing a wide range of sporting, recreational, health, wellness and fitness activities. The Club offers spacious facility to hone skill in Table Tennis, Aerobics, Yoga, Creative Dancing, Theatre and Communication Skills, besides World Class Indoor facilities for Basketball, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Football, Fencing, Squash and Table Tennis.
Mr. Dewan lauded the initiative taken by KC sports Club and hoped that the young people of Jammu would take advantage of the facility not only for health and fitness but also to prepare themselves for better performance in the selection process for a variety of careers in armed and para-military forces of the country.
