MENDHAR, May 15: The police seized an over loaded Tempo Trax and arrested its driver in Krishna Ghati area of district Poonch today.
Reports said that SDPO Mendhar, Surinder Choudhary during routine movement in the area found a Tempo Trax vehicle loaded with 25 passengers. They were moving towards Poonch from Salwa. 24 students of Govt High School Salwah and a teacher were travelling to Poonch to attend a Sports meet. Some boys were sitting on the roof top of the vehicle having capacity of the 11 while some others were hanging from the rear portion of the vehicle.
The DySP seized the vehicle and arrested its driver Talib Hussain, son of Mohd Sadiq. An FIR No. 58/ 2015 has been registered in this connection.
