JAMMU, Sept 14: All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir (AMEAK) protest in support of their relocation demand entered 125th day today.
These employees are on indefinite strike after the killing of their colleague Rahul Bhat who became the victim of heinous murder tendered by militants at his work place Tehsil Office Chadoora in Budgam district of Kashmir Valley.
They said Kashmiri Pandits always contributed towards nation building but feel highly deprived as it is never recognized by any of the governments.
KP employees also paid tributes to martyr Tika Lal Taploo and also remembered martyred teachers Deepak Chand , Supinder Kour and Rajni Bala who were shot dead in Schools while performing duties. They said it is unfortunate that Government is not taking concrete steps in putting the targeted killings on halt in Valley.
They said the fear-psychosis among Valley posted Hindu employees is elevated extremely after successive killings and it has shattered their confidence.
Employees said that they will not return to Valley where fear-of gun still prevails and they feel their lives are highly vulnerable.
They, while highlighting their one point demand said they will not budge an inch from their demand of relocation to Jammu.
