Sir,
Non-acceptance of the refugees package for comprehensive resettlement and rehabilitation by the Central Govt generated feelings that the bridges of hopes and expectations people have been building for their better future ahead, by having compensation claims and other rights and privileges, they actually deserve, seem broken.
Any delay in passing the proposal would mean scratching the wounds of 1947 holocaust. Perhaps those at the helm of the affairs on the issue are totally unaware of the agonies, death and destruction these people suffered in those bloody days. Therefore, the package, undoubtedy, deserves sympathetic touch, now atleast.
Yours etc….
