JAMMU, Oct 2: The Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust organized a vibrant painting competition at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram in Udaiwala, Bohri, here today, aimed at promoting talent among children. The event attracted around 350 young artists from the local community.
Rajinder Tickoo, an expert in visual arts, presided over the function and praised the Trust’s efforts to instill moral and spiritual values in the youth. The competition was judged by Santosh Tickoo and Satish Kar, who evaluated the creativity and skill displayed by the participants.
Awards were presented to the top performers, with trophies and certificates given to the winners across various age categories. The first-place winners included Uruvashi Tickoo in the senior group, Manav Kashyap in the junior group, and Viaan Bhat in the sub-junior group. Other top positions were secured by Archana Devi, Saanvi Bhat, Shriya Bhat, Taniksha Sharma, Aashni Pandita and Dugu, who were also recognized for their achievements.
The trophies and citations were handed over by Ashok Kumar Razdan, President of the Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust, along with Sohan Krishen Khordi, Secretary, and Verender Kumar Kar, Organizer, in the presence of the chief guest and judges. T.K. Raina served as the compere for the occasion.
