JAMMU, July 16: An inter-school, on the spot painting competition on Anti-drugs, anti-smoking was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Finance and Accounts Society (JAKFAS), J&K Fine Arts Society in collaboration with PK Pratham Kalaniketan and PN Project Naily at JAKFAS Studio Lower Roopnagar, here today.
The competition was organized under the supervision of renowned JAKFAS Artist and Social Activist Suresh Sharma. Students from different schools participated in the competition. The winners of the competition are in group A, class 7th and 8th, Akshdev Singh of Shangrilla Public School won 1st prize, Wahida Gowhar of MIER School and Lakshay of Spring Blossom School won 2nd prize, Jitwan Singh of DPS Jammu and Bhumika Gupta of Shangrilla Public school won 3rd prize, while Krishna Gupta of Jammu Public School, Aradhana, Bhakti of Crescent Public School and Sarthak Verma of Indra Public School won consolation prizes.
In group B, class 9th to 10th, Aadil Gupta of Dewan Devi School won 1st prize, Samanyu Sharma of DPS Jammu and Jia Langer of Crescent School won 2nd prize, Shreetu Anand of Activity Public School won 3rd prize, while Jasraj Singh of DPS Jammu, Purnima Sambyal and Sonia Singh won Consolation prize.
The panels of Judges were renowned artists Kanav Gupta from Project Naily, Ajay Gupta and Prathamansh Sharma from PK- Pratham Kalaniketan. Students received the prizes from Assistant Sub Inspector Fayaz Banday and Sub Inspector Maqbool Hussain in presence of Vandana Sharma, Chairperson of Pratham Kalaniketan.
