DODA, Oct 9: District Information Centre Doda in collaboration with District Election Office Doda organized a painting competition under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) at Government Higher Secondary School Ghat, Doda.
As many as 16 students participated in the painting competition in which Rameez Raja of class 11th, Rabia Nazia of class 12th and Tariq Hussain and Riyan both of class 12th were adjudged first, second and third respectively.
While speaking on the occasion Tehsildar Doda Nasir Ali asked all the students to disseminate the message of ongoing process of special summary revision to the masses and sensitize their near and dear ones to come out and register themselves as voters. A colorful cultural programme was also organized by District Information Centre Doda in which renowned local artists presented songs in Urdu, Hindi, Bhaderwahi and Kashmiri.
