Pak fires indiscriminately on Indian posts in Poonch, Rajouri

 

JAMMU:  Pakistani Army yet again violated the ceasefire agreement and fired indiscriminately on forward Indian posts on the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir this morning.

      “Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from 0645 hrs in BG and Poonch  sector along the Line of Control,” defence spokesman here said.

      He said that Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively.   An Army jawan martyred and a 6-yr-old girl died in Pak firing yesterday on LoC while two others got injured.

       District Administration Rajouri has already ordered closure of 16 schools indefinitely near border.

      Families have also shifted to the camps set up by the administration. (AGENCIES)
