Palbinder, Bhanupriya attend India Camp

JAMMU, Jan 27: Palbinder Singh, son of Jagdish Singh, resident of Tallen RS Pura and Bhanupriya, daughter of Santokh Singh, resident of Kharote, Kathua  attended the National Coaching Camp in Kho-Kho at SAI Centre, Bhopal and SAI centre Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat respectively, prior to their participation in the South Asian Federation Games to be held at Guwahati, Assam from February 4 to February 9, 2016.
They have also played in test matches held at Guwahati in Assam from January 21 to January 22, 2016. Both played for India teams of men and women and won gold medals. There were four teams namely India, Rest of India, India Blue and India Red.
The president of the J&K State Kho-Kho Association S Manmeet Singh Amn, senior vice president, S B S Tirthi, general secretary, S Harjeet Singh and coaches Anil Sharma and Dheeraj Sharma lauded the efforts of the players for this achievement.
