JAMMU, May 11: Pankaj Ladda with his superb inning of 65 runs off 43 balls guided KCC Club to smash Gangyal Cricket Club (GCC) in a thrilling match played during the ongoing 2nd Holi Cup T20 Tournament at Phallian Mandal here.
Winning the toss, Gangyal Cricket Club (GCC) elected to bat first and scored 115 runs in 17.5 overs by losing all wickets. Aman scored highest 29 run for his team while Kaka and Makhan also contributed 16 and 24 runs to the total.
For KCC Club, Soumya Jain was the wrecker-in-chief with 3 wickets while Akshay Choudhary and Sahil Sharma claimed 1 wicket apiece.
In reply, KCC Club easily chased the target in 16th over by losing six wickets. Pankaj Ladda remained unbeaten with highest 65 runs off 43 balls while Raman Thaploo and Sahil Sharma contributed with 15 and 14 runs respectively to the total.
For GCC side, Ravi took 4 important wickets while Harjot Singh also claimed 2 wickets.
Pankaj Ladda was declared as man of the match.
The matches were officiated by Verinder Singh and Vicky as umpires, while Raj Kumar maintained the scorecard. The commentator was Sohan Bharti.
