JAMMU, Jan 7: In an exciting encounter at the Mini Stadium Parade Ground, Param FC triumphed over Kashmir Warrior FC with a commanding 2-0 victory in the ongoing 18th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament 2024-25. The match, held today, was a one-sided affair with Param FC showcasing their superior skills and strategy.
The opening goal came early in the 6th minute through Trywell, giving Param FC an early lead. They doubled their advantage in the 17th minute when Fardin found the back of the net, leaving Kashmir Warrior FC struggling to respond. Despite a few efforts from the opposition, Param FC’s defense stood strong, ensuring the clean sheet.
The dignitaries attending the match included prominent figures such as Ramesh Chander (International Player), Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), David Masih (Football Coach), Kamaljeet Kumar, Rakesh Kumar (International Player), Charanpreet Singh, Rajesh Sumbria, Mohd. Shuja, and Kuldeep Gupta (National Player). The officiating team for the match consisted of Ajay Singh, Ricky Kumar, Romesh Kumar and Rocky. The action continues tomorrow, with the 1st Quarter Final between J&K Bank XI and City Club Udhampur scheduled for 3:00 pm.
