SAMBA, Mar 2: Param Football Club defeated Kehli Mandi Football Club by 5 goals to nil in the ongoing 5th Thalora Football League and sailed into the finals of the tournament, here today.
From the very beginning, Param FC dominated Kehli Mandi FC. Rohit Jasrotia scored three goals in the first half of the game, while in 2nd half, Rohit and Tarun Kumar netted 4th and 5th goals for the winning team.
The second semi-final of the tournament will be played on Friday between Thalora Football Club and Kheri Mandi Football Club.
Aam Aadmi Party’s District president and Sarpanch Ravinder Singh Lavlu were present during the match. He encouraged the players to participate in the sports activities to keep themselves fit.
Councillor Ward No 15 Raj Singh, Rajol Singh, Shivcharan Singh, Rashpal Kumar, Digvijay Singh, Manav Singh, Aman Singh, Ravi Singh and so many others were also present during the match.
