JAMMU, June 1: Param Junior Football Club registered a solitary goal (1-0) win over State Football Academy (SFA), while State Football Club defeated Christian Star in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup Football League Tournament-2018, being organized by District Football Association (DFA), under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
In the first match, Param FC defeated SFA by one goal to nil (1-0). Ankit Dubey scored the goal for the winners in 34th minute.
In another match, State Sports Club drubbed Christian Star by two goals to one (2-1). From State Sports Club, Karan Thappa scored both the goals early in 5th and 7th minutes of the match, while from Christian Star, Ayush netted the goal in 45th minute.
The matches were officiated by Rahul Ghai, Honey Mehra, Sanju Jangral, Chandan and Rocky Sharma, while the tournament is being held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Mehmood, President DFA Jammu.
