JAMMU, Feb 15: Paramount Convent School (PCS) today organised Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises here.
96 students from class Nursery, LKG and UKG participated and each one of them had enthralled the audience with their splendid performance.
Principal of the school, Isha Manhas declared the event open by releasing the balloons in the air. Various types of field events like Banana race, Lemon spoon race, Grog jump race along with Musical chair and balancing the ball race were played.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various events of the sports. Among the students who got 1st prize in different events included Naivish, Gourang, Arihant, Purvi, Anvi, Vihaan, Neha, Anmol, Janya whereas 2nd prize went to Pranshul, Arihant, Shivani, Arvi, Rashvi, Atharv, Agamjoyt, Urja, Agamjyot, Inaaya, Atharav, Kayan, Kaivish, Arvi, Nyson, Manan, Avni, Manav, Shivay, Amrit, Divena, Anmol, Janvi, Vrishti, Niyati, Jatin, Kasvi and Vidhan. Vasu and Sanvi got the consolation prize
Speaking on the occasion, Isha Manhas congratulated the winners for their superb performance.
