JAMMU, Mar 14: Paramount Convent School organised Annual Sports Day with great zeal and enthusiasm in the school premises, here today.
Over 100 students from different classes participated enthusiastically and each one of them had enthralled the audience.
Isha Manhas, Principal of the school declared the event open by releasing the balloons.
Various types of field events like banana race, Collect and run, Needle and thread race, along with musical chair etc added to the excitement and thrill of the event.
The prizes were distributed among the students for their excellent performance in various sports events. Among the students who were declared 1st in different events are Panav, Tejasvi, Devinder, Rudra, Viaam Rohit and Saksham, while the 2nd prize went to Viaam , Mayukh, Tamavi, Rasagya , Aditya Mayukha, Saksham , Mayukh and Shivanshi and the third prize was bagged by Krityanjali, Gauri, Parth , Rohit, Sankat, Sammy, Vanshika, Tansih and Ayush.
Aditya, Dhruv, Gouravi , Aarav, Dev, Swastika, Manan, Manaswani and Swastika got consolation prize.
The medals and trophies were distributed among the winners by the chief guest on the occasion.
Principal of the school lauded the efforts of the winners for their superb performances.
