Paras helps NCC to outplay Young Star in 2nd Holi Cup

JAMMU, May 1: Paras Sharma helped National Cricket Club to beat Young Star Cricket Club by 2 wickets in the ongoing 2nd Jammu Cup T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by the trio of Sachin Singh, Mukesh Sharma, Sunil Kumar and Manmohan Proch at Mandal Cricket ground, here.
Young Star scored a decent total of 151 runs in the allotted 20 overs by losing 8 wickets. Aman top scored with 24 runs, while Shannu and Mannu contributed 21 and 19 runs to the total respectively. For NCC, Vijay Dogra and Pranav Mahajan took 3 wickets each, while Shiv Dutt claimed one wicket.
In reply, NCC rode on a superb knock of 61 runs off 43 balls by promising Paras Sharma to chase the total in 16.4 overs by losing 8 wickets to win the match by 2 wickets. Inderjeet Singh also contributed valuable 47 runs to the total, while Manish Dogra chipped in with 9 runs.  For Young Star Club, Aman Singh took 3 wickets, while Jagandeep Singh bagged 2 and Parveen Singh claimed one wicket.
The match was officiated by Sachin Singh and Vicky Kumar as umpires, while Sohan Bharti was the scorer.
