Paras Sharma’s unbeaten ton guides J&K to 269/4 against Hyderabad

JAMMU, Dec 8: Paras Sharma was at his murderous best in his unbeaten knock of 131 runs off 217 balls against Hyderabad in Cooch Behar Trophy Plate-A 4-day match at Hyderabad today.
Earlier, batting first, J&K lost an early wicket in the form of opener Ahmed Banday at 19 runs. However, Jammu and Kashmir consolidated their position with a partnership of 49 runs between opener Shubam Khajuria and batsman Zaid Mohammad to take the score to 68 runs, before Shubam became victim of Sharavan Kumar at his individual score of 45 runs, studded with 10 boundaries. Then Zaid was joined by in form batsman Paras Sharma, who added 126 runs, before former was dismissed by Chaitanya Reddy at his individual score of 49 runs off 195 balls. However, Paras continued his brilliance and scored an unbeaten magnificent century (131) runs off 217 balls, studded with 25 delectable boundaries. Aquib Nazir also contributed 17 runs to the total. Paras Sharma was unbeaten on 131 runs, while Hisham Saleem was batting on 10 runs at the draw of stumps on day-1.
CV Milind, Shravan Kumar, Jayasuriya Ambadi and Chaitnya Reddy shared one wicket apiece for Hyderabad.
