JAMMU, Sept 9: Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has welcomed the nation’s keenness in having Quad leaders as the chief guests on the occasion of 2024 Republic Day Parade at the National Capital.
Kavinder Gupta stated this while talking to media on the sidelines of a programme held under ‘Meri Matti Mera Desh’ here, today. It is pertinent to mention here that he was leading ‘Meri Matti Mera Desh’ campaign at Booth No: 119, Ward No 44 of Nanak Nagar in Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Kavinder Gupta said that the gracious presence of the Quad leaders will make the celebrations of R-Day 2024 a highly prestigious moment for the nation and the people. He said that in consonance with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbhakam the nations across the globe are keen and looking forward to join hands with Bharat under its global initiative ‘One Family One Earth’ for which full credit goes to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
The former Dy Chief Minister asserted that today during the G20 Summit, the tag of ‘Bharat’ in front of PM Modi is ample indication of the commencement of a new era for the nation that will undoubtedly take the country to the top level in the near future under the visionary leadership of the dynamic Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
While speaking about the ‘Meri Matti Mera Desh’ campaign, Kavinder asserted that it is the duty of each and every citizen of this nation to honour the ultimate sacrifice of the martyrs and the best tribute to them at present would be to join the nationwide campaign ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ displaying proactive participation.
He said that as part of ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaigns we pay tributes to martyrs of the world’s largest democracy who laid down their lives in defending the nation by visiting the martyrs’ houses and collecting soil from there to be sent to the national Capital to be merged with the soil at ‘Amrit Vatika’.
