JAMMU, Oct 29: BDC Planghar Parveen Akhtar today laid foundation stone for a filtration plant under JJM in Panchayat Bhattian.
The project will be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 747 lakh and the filtration plant will provide water supply to Hasyote, Bhattian and adjoining areas.
Speaking on the occasion BDC Planghar said that Central Government led by PM Modi is taking a number of steps for the welfare of J&K people.
“We are working with a vision and have taken a number of steps for the welfare of J&K people,” she maintained adding that people have realised changes in J&K as the issues pertaining to common people are being addressed on priority.
Parveen Akhtar was accompanied by AEE and JE of Jal Shakti Department Rajouri, Sarpanch Panchayat Bhattian, Prof. Abdul Rashid and a large number of locals.
