Parveen slams thunderous ton in RCC’s big win

JAMMU, Apr 14: Parveen Singh slammed a brilliant century (113 runs) to help Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) thrash Amateur Cricket Club by a huge margin of 102 runs in the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Tournament at KC School ground, here today.
Put into bat, RCC rode on a magnificent century by Parveen Singh to scored a mammoth total of 221 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 5 wickets in the process. Parveen scored his runs off 67 balls, with the help of 15 fours and 2 big sixes. He hit the shots with fluid grace and utter brilliance. Sourav Chopra made 24 off 16 balls, while Puneet Wattal and Madan Mohan contributed 17 runs to the total each. For Amateur Club, Mridul took 2 wickets.
Amateur Club, in reply was  bundled out for 102 runs in 14.2 overs to lose the match by a huge margin of 119 runs. Hritik top scored with 27 runs, while Shubham contributed 22 runs to the total. For RCC Srinagar, Dilbagh Singh took 3 wickets, while skipper Kuldeep Kumar claimed 2 wickets. Parveen Singh of RCC was adjudged man of the match.
