ANANTNAG, May 22: After a fabulous display of skill and technique in Indian Premier League, the Pune Warriors star from Kashmir has returned back to his native town of Bijbehara, Anantnag in South Kashmir.
On his arrival the atmosphere in his town was totally different.
Besides his relatives Parvez was received with warmth of love and affection by his close friends at his two storeyed small house.
Rasool, the promising all-rounder was all praise for his family and friends, besides his childhood coaches Rajesh Dhar and Abdul Qayoom and his chief coach Bishen Singh Bedi.
While talking to media persons, Parvez said that he is happy for his performance in recent IPL although he just played 2 matches. He said that wicket of world class cricketer Jacques Kallis has made his dream come true, adding that the J&K youth are highly talented, but the only hurdle in their way is lack of basic facilities.
Parvez further said that we have got only 20 percent of the basic facilities here as compared to other parts of India.
When asked about hi act of hiding a logo of liquor company on his jersy, Parvez said that no religion in the world allowed drug menace and he only followed religion, where drug menace is totally forbidden.
Pertinently, Parvez is the first player from J&K who took part in recent IPL, playing for Pune Warriors. He played two matches, one against Kolkatta Knight Riders and another against Mumbai Indians.
