JAMMU, Jan 20: Impressed by his skill and talent, J&K’s promising all-rounder Parvez Rasool Zargar has again been summoned by the BCCI panel of selectors headed by former Test cricketer, Sandeep Patil, for joining Team India nets at Mohali on January 21 and 22, 2013.
Parvez is among the five cricketers across the Country, who have been summoned for the said purpose for their outstanding performances in the Ranji Trophy this season.
Earlier, the gritty and gutsy cricketer was picked for India A team for his fabulous display and also was summoned alongwith speedsters Ishwar Pandey of MP and Mohit Mahipal Sharma of Haryana for the nets at Kotla in New Delhi to bowl to the likes of MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virat Kohli.
“It is an amazing feeling that I have been called by the BCCI selectors second time within a month. The net sessions with star cricketers of the Country help you to hone your skill up to the maximum level. Bowling to Indian greats and getting tips from them is always a great experience,” said excited Parvez while talking to EXCELSIOR.
Meanwhile, Rasool has also been called for National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bangalore for screening programme from January 26 to January 29, 2013.
It is pertinent to mention here that Parvez was among the top three performers of the State at Ranji trophy including all-rounder Ramdayal Punia, who had the haul of 29 wickets and around 300 runs and Ian Dev Singh, who slammed two fabulous centuries.
