POONCH, July 7: Pathana Teer village, including 11 Panchayat wards are without water supply for the last more than six weeks as the motor at the water pumping Station is out of order.
The villagers of the area today held protest at their village against PHE Civil and Mech authorities for not repairing the motor and ensuring water supply to the people. They alleged that more than three dozen PHE daily wagers/ CP workers have been engaged in the area but they are just burden on the department and public is getting no water supply. Motor often remains out of order. The department has failed to make alternate arrangements.
After holding protest then they moved to the office of SDM Mendhar and submitted a memorandum to him. The SDM assured to resolve their issue. He also summoned concerned PHE staff and asked to ensure water supply to the people.
