Pathania demands repatriation of stranded people

JAMMU, Mar 28: J&K BJP Spokesperson and ex-MLA, Ranbir Singh Pathania has demanded repatriation of stranded people back to their places.
Pathania has written a letter to the J&K Lieutenant Governor in this regard wherein he mentioned that he is receiving frantic calls, from labourers, students and patients stuck at different places across the country, demanding help.
He referred to the sudden announcement of 21 day lockdown in the wake of coronavirus pandemic and said that due to the lockdown thousands of J&K residents have been stuck-up at various places outside J&K.
Pathania also said that some of the stranded people were out for working as laborers or other jobs with MNCs while others had gone for medical treatment or other allied works.
The BJP Spokesperson said that the stuck-up persons on one side are facing threat of pandemic while on the other side they are facing threat of starvation due to lockdown.
He demanded repatriation of such stranded people like the UP Government did with total expenses to be involved in translocation to be borne by the stranded persons.
“All the medical precautions, protocol and safeguards, as may be prescribed, should be observed accordingly during the translocation of stranded people from various parts of the country to their native places in J & K,” Singh maintained.
