JAMMU, Oct 3: Bharat Vikas Parishad Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organized National Patriotic Group Song Competition at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar, here.
Zahida Parveen, Principal of the school was the chief guest on the occasion.
The programme started with the lightening of the lamp and the recitation of Vande Matram.
Arun Sharma, State president BVP presented welcome address. 5 schools of the area participated in the competition.
KV No-2 Jammu bagged first position, Govt Girls High School Gandhi Nagar bagged second position, while MNKG School Gandhi Nagar claimed third position.
In Sanskrit category, KV-No 2 Jammu clinched first position.
Prof Vijay Lakshmi was the adjudicator of the event, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Vijay Sharma, SN Sharma, Dr Santosh Gupta, Bhopal Dutta and BB Sharma.
The programme was conducted by Anita Sharma.
