BARAMULLA, June 18: 46 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Chinar Corps and J&K Body Building Association organized Mr Baramulla 2014 at Sherwani Community Hall, here.
Over 60 enthusiastic and dynamic youth from various parts of Uri, Pattan, Rafiabad, Boniyar and Baramulla participated in the event with pomp and grandeur.
The event was divided into eight categories and the participants competed in a befitting manner for the title.
The prestigious and coveted title was won by Tariq Ahmed Mir from Kalidi, Pattan.
The function was addressed by Maj General Anil Chauhan, SM, VSM, GOC, 19 Inf Div who emphasized the importance of physical fitness and its benefits.
The event was also witnessed by Sohail Mir, SSP Baramulla and president JKBBA besides other prominent personalities of Baramulla.
The efforts of the Army were well appreciated by the local populace and president of JKBBA encouraged more and more youth to participate in these events.
