SRINAGAR, Sept 20: All J&K Patwar Association (AJKPA) elected its State body with Sajjad Saddique as its president.
During the election, which was conducted by election commission of the association headed by provincial president, Kashmir, Fayaz Ahmed Baba, Sajjad Siddique and Mushtaq Ahmed Ganai were elected unopposed for the post of president and senior vice-president, respectively, as no candidate contested against them.
Besides, Abdul Majeed Malla was elected as vice-president, Syed Danish Qadri as general secretary, Ghulam Rasool Shah as secretary (Jammu), Jehangir Khan as secretary (Kashmir), Shah Iqbal as chief organizer, Reyaz Zareen as publicity secretary, Adil Ahmed Baig as accountant, Showkat Rashid as treasurer and Ayaz Ahmed Wani as auditor general.
Hundreds of revenue officials participated in the election process. The delegates including former State presidents, Abdul Gani Ahangar and Affaq Shopianvi and former general secretaries, Abdul Salam Parray and Haji Muhammad Yaseen were also present during the election.
