JAMMU, Nov 30: Pawan Sharma, BJP Prabhari for Jammu Lok Sabha constituency has appealed to Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha to sanction examination centres for the youth of district Ramban, who are going to participate in Panchayat Secretary examination scheduled to be held on December 10.
In a statement issued here, today Pawan the former ABVP president said due to irresponsible behavior of district administration Ramban, youth of the district are forced to suffer while in all other districts, examination centres for candidates participating in Panchayat Secretary written examination have been established.
He further said as per his telephonic conversation with JKSSB Chairman, Rajesh Sharma, district administration Ramban failed to provide sufficient arrangements to conduct the examination in district Ramban.
“I appeal LG Manoj Sinha to intervene personally and get the issue resolved in the interest of economically poor youth of district Ramban”, he said.
Ramban is far flung and snow bound district in JK and majority of the youth belong to BPL families and can’t afford to reach other districts for competitive examination, he added. “It is totally injustice with the youth of Ramban by not providing examination centres in the district as has been done in other districts”,. “JKSSB has already sought list of institutions with their seating capacity but all in vain despite the fact over 4500 candidates are appearing from this district, he added.
Pawan said youth of Ramban are hopeful that LG administration will do justice and sanction/allot examination centres for the youth of district Ramban.
