JAMMU, Jan 11: AAP has sent a memorandum to PM Modi through PMO demanding hike in remunerations of Sarpanches and Panches of J&K to make it at par with what is paid in other States and Union Territories.
In a press conference here at Jammu, Sewa Singh Bali, Trade Union leader of AAP claimed that Sarpanches and Panches of J&K are being paid Rs. 3000 and 1000 respectively while the remunerations of Sarpanches and Panches in other States and UTs is Rs. 10, 000 and 5000 respectively.
Bali further claimed that in e-tendering and PMAY only the blue eyed people dear to the ruling dispensation are being benefitted while the deserving ones are being ignored.
