PCC Jammu scripts narrow win over KCC Bishnah

JAMMU, Dec 10: PCC Jammu defeated KCC Bishnah by a narrow margin of 10 runs in a high scoring game of the ongoing 2nd Anti drug Cricket Tournament, being organized by Red Rose Cricket Club at Sports Stadium, Arnia.
Winning the toss and batting first, PCC Jammu scored a decent total of 170 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Vikram was the top scorer with 47 runs off 36 balls, which included 7 fours and one six. For KCC Bishnah, Manpreet was the pick of the bowlers, who claimed 4 important wickets by conceding 32 runs in his four overs, while Gulshan claimed 2 wickets by giving away 24 runs in his 4 overs.
Chasing a good total of 171 runs, KCC Bishnah fell short of 10 runs as it managed 160 runs in the allotted overs, thus lost the match by a narrow margin of 10 runs. Ankit was the top scorer with 56 runs, which included 3 fours and 4 sixes, while Vikas contributed 22 runs with 2 fours and one six. For PCC, Rajat was the wrecker-in-chief who captured 5 important wickets, while Akash claimed one wicket.
