JAMMU, Apr 3: All Jammu Province Daily Wager/Casual/ Need Based Union Workers of PDD has decided to go on `Kaam Chhoro Hartal’ from Tuesday.
The strike shall be held under the leadership Arvind Sharma (president) in front of the office of Commissioner Power Development at Janipur. The workers will protest against the demands like non-release of wages of casual/Need Based Workers from wagers Head and regularisation of daily wagers who have completed seven years.
Other demands of the union included conversion to PDL/ IDL to casual/need base workers, removing and clearing the salary gap and holding DPC of the workers.
