JAMMU, July 20: A delegation of PDP Minority leaders under the chairmanship of Nana Ji Wattal called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M), M L Raina here today and discussed the various issues of Kashmiri migrants with him.
The issues which came for discussion included issuance of State Subjects and RBA certificates, ration card of APL, insurance schemes for migrants, release of salaries of employees under PM package, the left over families who don’t have accommodation and are putting presently at ORT Camp Nagotra in miserable condition be provided accommodation on humanitarian grounds immediately, protection of Swami Mirzakak Ashram at ORT Nagrota, police recruitment for migrants and release of pending ex-gratia.
The meeting was also attended by Executive Engineer, Ashok Kumar Kichloo, and Tej Krishan Bhat, Officer Headquarter.
The other members of the delegation were Maharaj Krishan Bhat (retd) Dy SP, Bushan Lal Bhat, Nana Ji Raina ex Sarpanch, Veer Ji Koul, Jai Krishan Wattal, Sunil Krishan and Satish Kumar.
